Panthers Stay Perfect

Baltimore, MDPikesville Panthers are off to a hot start in their first 5 games of the season. Wednesday afternoon the Panthers continued their winning streak in dominate fashion with a 19-0 win over Milford Mill Academy.

Panther’s Pitcher Colby Mekiliesky

Panther’s pitcher Colby Mekiliesky had a solid performance on the mound. The freshman right-hander struck out 7 Millers in 4 innings in his first start of the season.

Pikesville Panthers Ezra Charles

Panthers sophomore Ezra Charles had a impressive day at the plate. Charles hit 3 triples, 1 double, while knocking in 4 RBI.

Pikesville is off to their best start in over 10 years under Head Coach Dominic Peters. The Panthers are currently tied with Randallstown at the top of Baltimore County’s Division 2 standings. So far, Lansdowne is the only team to test Pikesville. The Lions fell short in a 6-5 road loss in their second game of the season. Friday, the Panthers will host Woodlawn, who’s also off to a hot start this year. First pitch is scheduled at 3:45.
