Baltimore Area High Schools stole the show Saturday during the Maryland State Finals Basketball Tournament at the Xfinity Center. Local High Schools walked away with 4 state titles and 1 runner up appearance in College Park . Perry Hall and Poly repeated as Class 4A and 3A champions. Lake Clifton brought home the 2A title, while Dunbar won the 1A crown after a 4 year hiatus.

Poly Engineer Demetrius Mims also made history during the semifinal versus Stephen Decatur. The Long Beach State University commit became Poly’s all-time leading scorer in dramatic fashion after converting a windmill slam. Championship game MVPs
